the holiday that isn't...

well, seems as if normal people aren't the only indecisive ones anymore... you gotta add our government to the list. first they said, just schools and government offices. and then they declared it a public holiday and gave people enough time to rejoice and plan on the rest of the long weekend. and THEN... then, they revert back and say that no, only schools and government offices.

so here we are, at work, while the rest of the population are still sleeping in their beds. i left the house late today and i still got here 15 minutes early. whatta day! :p

last saturday, Yan and i went back to Marikina Shoe Expo to eat lunch at Bellini's with Anton and Julette. Food was great, it was fun! :D i really, really wanted to get M-Egg from one of the shops there (forgot the name lang) but they were closed! waaahh!! :p gonna come back soon for some... and maybe check out vintage pop uli.

we walked into one of the antique shops there and had a grand time looking at old pictures, old vinyls and just a bunch of old stuff! i'd love to buy and bring back some home but i'm afraid i'd forget about them and they'd end up as junk. :p altho i did find a perfect mug for my beer-loving tito. hehe. :) if he's here for Christmas, i'm getting that for him. It may need to be sanitized first though. hehe.

Arguing from the point of equality and other things

Yesterday, my sister texted that she was about to get that Canon SLR camera that I wanted. Well, my dad did tell me that both of us told him on separate occasions about the camera so... since she's there, she got hers. Now, being that lil child that I can be, I actually texted my parents asking why she's getting one and i'm not?! ahahah, laugh, i know it's worthy of laughter. In fact, Reg teased me about arguing from the point of equality. I said, we're ALWAYS arguing from the point of equality anyway. hehe :D So my sister and I were texting, as I was asking her which cameras were available in the store that they were in and lo and behold, they sell Leicas!! Wohoo! :) I may actually get my Leica after all. So now i'm torn.
