the weekend that was hong kong (and shenzhen)

i want to go back to Hong Kong. that was my net take out of the whole trip. why? well, first: it rained practically the whole time we were there. well, it rained on the day we designated as "shopping day" - which also was our absolute last day. so i didn't get to go to everything, nor check out all the shops because of the gawddamn rain. i spent most of it being just a tad annoyed by all the water. sigh. and i didn't even get to go see Victoria Peak, which i really wanted to see. haaay... despite that tho, i managed to buy a pretty snazzy bag from Muji which cost me a LOT. but i don't mind, i lurves it. haha! :D the most annoying bit there is that the rain stopped at about 4pm... and we were leaving for the airport by 6!! raarrggh. i guess i wasn't really meant to shop much.. except i did end up spending all my money. i guess that meant meager stuff i got weren't exactly, um, cheap. hehe. :D second: i didn't research this trip as much as i should'v...

Hong Kong!

yeahhhh... haha. be back on sunday! :)

my little piece of history

last night, i was looking at my favorite organiser from way back - i bought it at target near my tita's house in maryland. it wasn't just your typical organiser, it had far side comics for each week. not only was it a complete, it also made me laugh. i was a bonafide far side fan because of it. anyway, the organiser lasted me through year 12 at BIS and about half of my first year in college. so looking through it last night made me laugh and here are some things that i learnt: 1. before i was Kayers (picked this nickname up at the citi because of FILC), i was Kayeish. this was from Kris - who went through an -ish stage for a while (coolish, supish, etc. hehehe) 2. man, i found some sappy poems! ahaha! written back in high school. now i can' remember who they pertain to, if they did pertain to anyone. one poem there tho could easily fit into now... except it has gotten a little too mushy for my taste. haha. but it fits still. 3. anyone remember? if you need a shoulder to cr...

so close i can almost taste it...

1) X-MEN 2) the weekend. oh gawd, i can't wait for the weekend. :D

magyayabang lang...

may XMEN TICKETS na kami!!! yay!!! bweehehehehe... :D am so excited.

clearing out

i forgot that i also had to clear out my email inboxes. i have one email i have just deleted into internet oblivion. i should have done it ages ago. the document wasn't even mine and it was just a form of personal torture to have it on hand and be able to read it at will. but it's gone now. faith. :) -==- friday mode!! i can't wait to leave!

soo over this funk i was in

well, writing out previous post helped out for reasons i don't know. but i was in majorly better mood right after. in fact, by the time i got picked up, i was in high spirits - looking forward to eastwood, ige and hongkong holiday's gig and seeing friends. i'm so over the funk i was in last week. so over. mood swings done. i now feel like myself again. funny because it was such a simple night really, but i was damn happy. :) in fact, i felt like it was friday so i feel very wrong sitting in the office right now. and i'm half-asleep pa. haha. so i ended up coming home major PSG -- AND senti. haaay... :) i. am. happy i am off-the-hook happy. happy with my friends. happy with my family. happy with who's turning out to be the most significant person in my life. i cannot believe how life is going, how everything's turning out and how kick-ass this road i'm on is. sometimes i feel like i don't deserve this, but i'm loving everything. loving loving loving ...

how well do you really know... me?

aka a look at myself, honestly. because i have done nothing but think about so many things at almost the same time that thoughts have become unintelligible... here's an attempt to offload some. :p this in hopes that if i write it down, i can stop thinking about them and other thoughts can come into the fore. bleh. so here goes. 1. more often that not, you will find me smiling - if you know me well, you will be able to tell by the intensity of the smile and by how far it reaches my eyes the exact mood i'm in. yes, even if i'm sad. 2. i am talkative - i really am. but as articulate and un-shy (is that a word?) as i am, i find it very difficult to express exactly what i am thinking and feeling especially if: 1) i think it's trivial (and yet people will tell me it's not) 2) it may possibly cause confrontation the bad side to this is, i have a very hard time letting someone know EXACTLY how i feel. the person i'm talking to will need to have patience and ask the rig...

the last thing i thought of before i went to sleep last night:

... something doesn't feel right and i dunno what it is exactly... sigh.

happy, happy

reasons why i was happy last weekend (in no particular order): 1. the rain. despite the fact that i'm not a big fan of rain, it was a wonderful break from the scorching heat. the downside: no electricity in the house for most of the day on saturday :p 2. w grill with gasso people - i missed them. major. 3. street dance at gold's. i loooveee that class. 4. gym! i had fun at the gym. haha. feels great to be working out again and actually liking it. 5. caloy's house with caloy, aj, joe, kris and sayang. fun fun fun. :) 6. got new jeans made, i hope i get them on time! haha 7. shop, shop, shop! despite the fact that i did not mean to shop, i got some stuff pa rin! haha! 8. yummy food and most important of all: sayangku. i love sayangku. and my mom's talking to me again!!! YEAH. it was a nice steady weekend and i loved it! :)

Congrats Cia and Ferdie

Kirby is a cutie! :) Unangkasal now has Unang Baby... amazing how time flies! oh, sino na sunod???? ahahahaha! :D

faith

a friend asked how you can judge a person who seemingly says all the right things at the right time to be sincere? i answered, faith. it's just faith that lets you believe that all the things you hear are sincere. it's faith that allows you to share with another person. it's faith that allows you to go through life trusting a person or people. and it's faith that guides your instincts, helps you determine what's ok and what's not. faith is a gamble. it is a risk. everyone will have to let go of the walls they build around themselves and succumb to faith at least once in their lives. there are some who can do it constantly. it is a hard decision to make, a difficult jump to do. it is tantamount to letting go and going blind. like everything else, it can only go both ways - to your favor or backfire on you. when it's to your favor - life is awesome. when it backfires, well... it backfires. and there's no use in kicking yourself over it. you had the best in...

curiousity killed the cat and other random shite

and i'm one cat that's probably thisclose to being killed because of my curiousity. haha! i dunno what it is, but it's fun knowing that a certain person is doing ok, having fun and doing all these things. fun knowing what they've been up to, even tho i have no urge to be part of it. i just wish they weren't so quick in changing urls or something. it adds to the repertoire of my interesting reads during the day when i'm bored. it's another "oh well" situation. so... oh well. it's not as if i don't understand tho, i used to be pretty quick in changing this url too. but now i just can't be bothered. ahaha. that's really how it is when you only want certain people to see your blog. again, oh well. such is life. :) -==- i seriously want to go home now. -==- no, make that, i seriously want to see sayangku already. -==- i'm still having boracay withdrawals. and i now realize that the reason why i wasn't so fine on the plane on the ...

26 reasons why Boracay kicked ass

Boracay kicks ass all the time, but this particular one was off the hook! ahaha! :) just got back from another three-day, two-night boracay trip and i'm seriously having bad withdrawals. and as always, i can't wait to go back! so here are just 26 reasons why this bora trip rocked: 1. not much lumot! hell yeah! :) and there were actually areas where there were none at all! yay! 2. swimming. swimming. swimming. nevermind if it's in the middle of the day. bwhehe. i have burnt shoulders to show for it. :D 3. boracay plaza isn't so bad, and i like where it is. next time i'm staying at some hotel along that area. :) 4. jonah's mango milkshakes. yum yum 5. hanging out at real coffee with gui and marts 6. hanging out with gui (we really missed anna and glads tho!) 7. sleeping after lunch and getting up at three to swim again. 8. looking for bananas to eat to avoid my notorious foot cramps. :p bleh (but the search for it was fun. haha!) 9. drinking illusion shakers fro...

lost

i know i've been sort of quiet lately - i know my blog hasn't really said much, all very basic stuff of what's been happening. first off, i don't have that much free time at work. if i'm not here, i'm in rockwell. and sometimes, i just don't feel like writing at all. second, i can't fix up my pc and/or laptop at home because the plug reserved for the computers is fucked up. if i really want to go online, i have to move everything... or get a really really long extension cord and i just can't be fucking bothered. still tho, i feel different inside in ways i can't explain. i feel... old. or older. depending on how you look at it. and i don't quite exactly know why and what is triggering that. do you feel it too? i see my life moving in a certain direction and i like where it's going. i see life fast forwarding and i know that one day, i'll be living the scenario i see in my head. and it's scary how it's so certain and how i can...

Bangkok in a few words

To sum up Bangkok: 4 days, 3 nights. fucking hot. shop. shop. shop. walk. walk. walk. (in the damn heat) crispy pork at that resto under the tree in suan lom (suan lum? sp?). cruise on the first night. not bad food at all tour on the first half of the second day. mbk. suan lom. on second half of the second day heaven foot, palm and shoulder massage at mr. feet. yay getting lucky with food at an authentic thai resto (yay, not going hungry!) shop to death on the third day (as if we didn't in the first two days). chatuchak. platinum. suan lum for panic last-minute stuff khao san road on the last night. street brawl (didn't see tho). zombie. home at 4am. fun. fun. fun. but i missed someone so badly. by the third day, almost everyone was saying they were ready to go home. anyway... for pictures, check out my multiply! :)
