food trippin'!
last night, julette, anton and i sat patiently (impatiently? hehe) in traffic to get ourselves to greenhills for dinner.
that's right, greenhills! :) we picked up ryan first though and then we all ended up in JT's Manukan somewhere in Greenhills.
one word: sarap!!!
i look at chicken bacolod now and think it's flat... hehe. :D lotsa, lotsa (bwehehe!) fun there!
we've got other places lined up, well into next month. food trippin's fun man... haha! :D

got a friend here at work who's mom was rushed to the hospital yesterday. we heard late yesterday that her mom was moved to icu and that she's still under observation.
my friend is here today, at work, despite everyone telling her to not come in. even now, people are telling her to leave. her workload's pretty heavy at the moment, i can hear her quietly insisting na, no... can't turn over to you yet, i'll just finish this one. except in this line of work, nothing's ever really finished. i guess in some way, doing this sort of shit can help you keep a sense of normalcy. and i admire her for doing it... because if it were me, my mind wouldn't even be here even if i was physically present.
i can't imagine what she's feeling - in the same way, i watched yan go through the same thing, not really knowing what to say or do. i'm sure her mom's gonna be ok, but she's bound to be damn worried right now.
man, trace, go home na.... please... :p
