What is it about December that makes people think?
Ok, well, duh... stupid question. It's the last month of the year, so of course people are going to look back at what the past year has been.
This past year, as my baby sister said in her christmas notes to us, "so fast it was like the air that just passed by, don't you think?" Hehe, what an amusing way to look at it huh? But it's true nonetheless. This year did just fly by. One moment, i'm having my birthday... and the next thing you know, we're on the absolute last day of school for the rest of lives (at least, until we decide to study yet again, if ever) and then we're marching down picc for graduation, vacationed my ass off, got myself a job and now... it's Christmas season! and those were just a few of the big parts... there were so many little things pa in between.
One year down the drain, just like that.
In hindsight, this was one eventful year. That's probably the best reas...

Gifts, Parties and Food!
It's been a pretty good holiday so far. Bonded with the family, got to party with friends, ate lots of good food (i'll regret later on, but right now i don't really care! haha), and got plenty of good gifts!
Especially the ones from "Santa" and my baby... I love getting stuff i wanted. :)
Got a pretty good haul from my friends as well, thanks guys! loved every single, itsy bitsy one of them :)
I've also been able to really rest despite the busy schedules and finally caught up on sleep! damn, i wish every day was a holiday. :p

I said i'd write stuff about the office christmas party, so here it is. Two words: It rocked! I love Gasso! haha! (that's in tribute to my officemate Anna, who felt the need to shout that out every few minutes). I had a grand time just dancing with my friends. The food was awesome and the prizes were even more mind-boggling. Kudos to Julette, who not only one 3rd place for costume b...

Merry Christmas!
Well, well.. i haven't written in here in a while. The Christmas rush hit, and i was left with no choice but to be swept by it thereby totally forgetting to blog (and instead worked and shopped).
I am planning to do a recap of the past few days... because they have been quite interesting, not to mention extremely busy. I haven't even written about the office christmas party which was pretty fun! :)
i promise to do that soon.
but for now, i just wanna wish all of you a very merry christmas and a prosperous new year (cliche but true.. hehe). hope you all got the stuff you wanted! :D

Winston's 2nd Musicblast
This concert, i must say, had the best crowd control i've seen so far. they actually screened the people coming in! Considering that it the concert was for free and advertised, they did pretty well. In the end, the Tent was basically empty and cold but had enough people to keep it quite happy.
In the short time that yan and i were there, we managed to see Stonefree, Parokya and Bamboo!
And i know i've said this somewhere in this blog before but Bamboo rocks. Ohmigod. *bow down*
Parokya was awesome as well. As always.
And Stonefree rocked. Galing talaga boses ni Miro.
I love watching bands.
I do. I do. I do. Especially Pinoy rock bands that hands-down, honest-to-goodness galing.

Where did the weekend go??
I don't know what it is bout the month of december, but the days just seem to be on fast forward. earlier this morning, i kept thinking that it was a saturday, totally forgetting the fact that saturday already happened.
goodness me.
anyway, this weekend was reminiscent of our normal weekends, back when life wasn't so full and busy. my baby hung out here at home for most of saturday to burn some cds to take home to the province. lounging around on a saturday is definitely fun... i can't do that often so i'm grateful for the time that i get to. we left for dinner and hung out at greenbelt for a bit, after which we saw les and caloy. didn't get to stay long however, because i had to be up a bit early (well, early for a sunday morning anyway) for an appointment with julette (naks, appointment. hehe). Now that i look back, we didn't leave so early saturday night anyway... i got home usual time. goodness. see what i mean about time...

gossip, gossip
you can't fault us girls for this... besides, guys love it too. but us girls just love to gossip. especially if it's the kilig kind of chismis where you're all trying to figure out the status between two people. yes, it's none of our business, but it's fun to speculate. and since we're girls, we feel the need to psychoanalyze every little detail, sighting, opinion, etc even on mediums such as ym.
that's what we did yesterday at the office by the way. hehe. so much fun.
:)
can i just say tho... that i love working for gasso? and that i'm happy with the path i chose? because i think i picked the right company for a first job. i love how gasso is. makes me wish i was part of the company longer na. anyway, i haven't really been running around busy and all, but since i like what i'm doing, i don't think i'll mind when the time comes. i hope. hehe
:)
friday na tomorrow! can't wait for the weekend. wla lang...

Bonding is the word, baby
(and other random ramblings)
There are times, certain times during the year, that i feel that my baby and i just bond. it usually happens out of nowhere.. we'd be hanging out like usual and the next thing you know, we're talking to each other as if we didn't know almost everything about each other. Somehow, you just find something new to laugh and talk about.
This weekend was a major bonding weekend for us. After all, the weekend before that wasn't such a great weekend for both of us - we didn't end it happily after all. we argued, in fact. This weekend was the complete opposite. We spent most of it together hanging out and just enjoying each other's company. It was also perfect in that it was punctuated by the appearances of our friends at various times, but it was pretty obvious that the main point of our weekend was us. It was bonding time.
:)
The thing i find amazing is... after all this time, you think we'd have ...

Stormy days such as this
I don't remember when I last heard winds whistle. It sure is an interesting sound. Anyway, at around 6pm last night, the news announced that classes at all levels all over the Phils will be cancelled today.
Man, i sure missed being a student right then!
Why can't we working people get a day off because of bagyo too? Most of the people in offices are the ones who have to brave the rains to use public transpo. Ah well, I guess because we're "older" and part of the workforce, we can take better care of ourselves than those poor college students who have to slug to school with books.
Am i bitter? hahaha!
nah, i'm happy for my friends who have no school today. Wish i get off early today too so i can hang out with them! :)
