being able to hang out with dad means a lot of things:
- i get to have him to myself, because that hardly happens anymore
- i get free, good food!
- i can possibly get money (i dunno why, but he just feels like he has to give me some. who am i to say no? haha!)
and last, but certainly not least, it means being able to ride in his usually off-limits-until-he's-here X5. i get to sit up front too! the view and ride up front is definitely different from the ride at the back. hehe. it's off-limits because it's understood that he's the only who can really drive it. that, and no one else really has the guts to drive it. i figure that during the times our driver needs to bring it for service or something-or-other (which hardly happens), he probably drives slower than he usually does. for most of the year, the car gets warmed up in the morning, and every few days, it gets driven just around the block. :p
i wouldn't drive this car for sure man.. scary!
anyway, i had dinner with dad today. it was fun! :) i was giving him all these random stories, which is so me. :) good stuff today.
anyway, he flies back tomorrow with mocha so bye bye na to mochie-baby! :(

i've got with me copies of inna and her friends' Freeze Frame pictures to give to her friend katkat. they're really nice! Freeze Frame is this studio in jakarta that takes really good pictures, and they do your make up, your hair... everything! they used to give you clothes too, but now everyone just brings their own. sila inna had theirs done because their cozy group of 4 was about to break up - 2 of them were moving someplace else.
i think about it and realize how much they've grown and how much time has passed. it's gonna be weird not seeing the four of them together all the time. they all literally grew up together - meeting each other when they were about 3-4 years old. :p oh well. always the downside of being an expat - you get to say bye to friends at some point. :p
looking at their pictures got me thinking - buti pa sila they have this! kris!! we don't even have freeze frame pix. how sad! :p haha! i don't even have our Yo's pix anymore. :p
