That TopShop shirt says it all:

Why can't I have everything? Haha, whiny as that shirt may sound, I like it. I think i should buy it. it's so me. it's so... everyone i know. Except, I can't buy it. not now. Ironic, isn't it, that I can't have the shirt that asks the question i'm always wondering about. Just goes to show, i really can't have everything. :) hehe. Well, if i can't have everything, can I have almost all of everything instead? bwahahaha. :) -==- it's funny, life. I love it. :)

Stay or Go?

The question is always in mind, but it only comes to the forefront whenever i want to. the past few days tho, it's been in the forefront. when left alone, i think about it often. there are a lot of things about this country that make you want to stay. lots of very good reasons, in fact. but there are also factors that make you want to leave. important ones too, i might add. so mostly, the battle in my mind has been focused on answering the question above: do i want to stay or do i want to go? as is obvious, i'm torn. i don't know if i want to stay. i don't know if i can leave again. it has been said about me so many times by so many different people that if i had the chance, i'd probably up and leave. i can see myself doing it. in my head. but in actuality, i don't know if i can. if i wanted to go, i can probably make it work. i can try so that the option is available to me. in fact, if i really wanted to, i can seek that help that i know is available but been...

happy memories

i'm a sap, i admit. i keep old texts in my phone just because i like having them there. whilst stuck in traffic earlier this morning, i remembered that i had year-old texts in my w800. so for lack of better things to do, and since I was texting client (i refuse to write client with a capital C in my blog!) already, i decided to read through some of them. it's funny, they're a year old but i still get the same sort of feelings reading them. They still make me smile as if I'm reading them for the first time. They also make me a little wistful, which is strange. because fun times were those times then, fun times it still is now! I guess that's just how it goes with good memories, there's a part of you that's wistful for a repeat because they were just so happy. Anyway. They're good for those weird days when you wake up as gloomy as the weather. They're a little ray of sunshine. :)

Dance, Dance.

Image
Last Friday, I finally got to dance. Nevermind that it was to songs that would repeat every so often (what did the people in Ice think?! that people only stayed for one rotation?! labo). At least it was hiphop, altho sometimes distorted. Basically, it was Cocomangas' playlist. haha! :D but anyway, all i cared about was being able to dance. And dance I did. With Julette, Julia, Waya, Paolo and Arnie. :D one day, I'll get my husband to dance with me too. ehehehe :D Friday was a blast, sa uulitin? haha! :D and someone bring a back up camera. Rap's camera totally gave up on us after the set of pictures in my multiply were taken. We took it to nokia and they said they had to replace the camera! I think it died of shock. ahahaha :D Too bad though, because there were some pretty nice photo ops of the little girl who surprisingly got drunk that night. ehehehe :D classic. I want to Dance pa!! Jules, remember hiphop Fridays in Jaipur?!?!?! hmmm.... hehehe :D Collage credits: Thanks ...

Pirates!

Image
Because Rap has been able to leave work early everyday this week, we were able to watch Pirates on its opening day last Wednesday. I love me some Jack Sparrow! haha :) Johnny Depp is amazing! The movie felt a little long (well, it was almost three hours long) and not quite as funny as the first two but it was entertaining. It's a good way to waste time. We sat on the front row (which is a never for me, i don't like the front row much) for lack of other available seats, but it was a good thing it was at Greenbelt 3 which meant there was a considerable amount space between the first row and the screen. I had this fleeting thought that Johnny Depp is more gigantic when you sit in the front row. Almost makes up for being there. haha. I'd still rather be seated somewhere in the upper rows though. :D Has anyone noticed how most villains become villains because of love? There's Darth Vader. Davy Jones. Even Macbeth. And scores more others who become villains because something...

When bored, torture yourself...

Personal form of torture number 1: eLuxury.com brought on by purseblog.com. haha :D So, I was just reminded by eLuxury.com that the Speedy 25 exists, cheaper by a whopping $25 than the Speedy 30 at $595. 25 or 30, I don't care. I want that bag. hahaha. Altho, reason dictates I should get the Speedy 25 because it's the smaller bag. I don't need a travelling bag, I want a handbag. (notice how I interchange "want" and "need" in one sentence. haha) Okay, this current slight obsession with this particular bag was brought on by seeing it on the arm of random girls/ladies in Rockwell over the weekend. I was reminded by how much I liked it. :p -==- Personal form of torture number 2: Malapascua brought on by: the message board on Multiply, showing Jay-fr-Y&R's pictures photo credits: ANTON DIAZ of AWESOME PLANET I first heard of Malapascua (and Bantayan) roughly a year ago when some officemates headed on over there for a weekend or so. I never really ...
