Wala lang Sunday

i haven't had a sunday like this in a loonngg time. it's alternately nice and weird to be hanging out at home and doing absolutely nothing. it's nice because it's great to have nothing to do, but it's also weird because i have nothing to do. did that make sense? i guess it's because it's the first sunday since this year started (i think) that i've got nowhere to go today.

it's the epitome of a wala lang day today.

i wish the whole of next week will be like this :p

hey hey... it's adcongress season. i finally will be able to go to one! well, that is, if we're actually going. it'd be cool to, never been to one. ;p hehe

speaking of adcong though... i gather that is basically giving credit where credit is due... and bragging rights all around for those who are there and actually win. it's a hot debate (i think we even discussed this in school)... that keeping adcongress in mind has people working to win for awards instead of working to generate results.

so am i really just a baby in the industry to ask how come it isn't possible to be creative AND generate results at the same time?

wala lang, the thought popped into my head today. it's been a slow, quiet day. :)

Arguing from the point of equality and other things

Yesterday, my sister texted that she was about to get that Canon SLR camera that I wanted. Well, my dad did tell me that both of us told him on separate occasions about the camera so... since she's there, she got hers. Now, being that lil child that I can be, I actually texted my parents asking why she's getting one and i'm not?! ahahah, laugh, i know it's worthy of laughter. In fact, Reg teased me about arguing from the point of equality. I said, we're ALWAYS arguing from the point of equality anyway. hehe :D So my sister and I were texting, as I was asking her which cameras were available in the store that they were in and lo and behold, they sell Leicas!! Wohoo! :) I may actually get my Leica after all. So now i'm torn.
