one conversation with friends centered on how eyes can give you a concise indication of a person's true feelings or intentions.

a person can be smiling the brightest, toothpaste-commercial worthy smile but if you look up into their eyes and don't see it reflected there, you know that she's faking.

or a person can be on their best behavior, but when you catch a glimpse of their eyes and you see a sinister gleam.

and anger is best seen in a person's eyes. how else will you be struck by the intensity of someone's rage? it's all in the nanlilisik eyes.

even fish need to be looked into the eyes to see if they're fresh. (bwehe.)

looks are the same way. you can tell a lot about the way a person looks at another person just by observing them. there are looks between people that only they can understand. most couples do this. it reflects how well they know each other because one look is enough to convey about a thousand words in exchange. people who know each other really well do this a lot too, after all, it is the most convenient and silent way to pass on a common thought without having to voice it out loud.

but passing looks need quick eyes and even quicker minds. i mean, if you're passing each other a look and the other person doesn't get it, then it's a complete waste of time and effort.

there are some people with quick eyes and quick minds. there are also some people who can read eyes and body language very, very well.

so what i don't understand is why people can't be discerning about whom they pass looks in front of. they all know that there are some who are quick on the uptake.

someone like me, perhaps.
