mom and inna left this morning for jakarta. the house is semi back to normal - we still have tito jun jun and dad. :) dad's been here for close to three weeks now but we hardly see each other because he's busy. we never seem to catch each other at home. ah well. -==- this week has been extra long. friday took a very long time coming. we started the week by moving three floors down and into a new business unit. the new area's novelty hasn't worn off for me yet, so i still enjoy coming in and sitting in my new area. i'm sure it'll wear off soon. the funny thing about this new area is the aircons can't seem to fight off the heat outside. it's actually a little better this morning, but come after lunch i'm sure we'll be turning on the fans again. gawd, i can't wait to get out of the office! in the meantime, i have a feeling i will spend part of today possibly watching more Heroes like I did last week. -==- the main highlight of this week though,...

So my mom and my baby sister are heading back to Jakarta tomorrow after about a week of staying here. While it's been fun having my family around, it also feels a little weird because Aneka isn't here. Thinking back, this may have been the first time that she asked to stay behind. And she stayed for a dance competition, which they unfortunately lost. Sayang. Anyway. It's a little strange sitting in my dad's car with space in between Inna and I. In fact, one of my mom's first few words on her first full day here were "I miss Aneka!" to which my dad replied, "Ikaw namimiss mo sya, pero ikaw hindi ka nya namimiss!" Ahaha! The other day I told her that she should've just come home. She thought it was because we were doing something special here. Actually, nothing has happened. haha! :D It was just weird that she wasn't here as well. So yesterday, she got hurt while swimming. Everyone was so worried. That convinced my mom even more that she...

My mom sent me this forward about a teacher having her students carry a bag of potatoes - one potato per person they hated/didn't like - for a week wherever they went. the moral of the story was that the stench of hatred contaminates one's heart, making it heavier to carry as time goes by. so just love everyone, even those that you dislike. But that's not exactly the part i liked best. (summary lang yun nung forward. haha) at the end of the powerpoint, it said: True love is not loving a perfect person but loving an imperfect person perfectly. i guess the one reason why we can say that a person is "perfect" is because we love them exactly for who they are - weird quirks and all. there's none of that nonsense of trying to change them into something that fits into the idea of "right" in your head because they are already right - for you. it was one of the things i used to rebel at - why do i have to change so you'll be happy with me? why do i have ...
one hell of a bloody better day!

will you believe if i said i used to say "bloody" quite often? like, "bloody hell!" haha. blast from the high school past. anyway, i am in a much chirper mood today than i was the past few days. dare i say, weeks? i'm not too sure, i didn't really count. anyway, there's nothing like being able to say what you've been wanting to say. or hearing what i should've heard. i feel like a whole load's off my chest. thank you. happiness. :)

I'm so pissed. We shouldn't have waited. The next time we find something that we'd really like for the wedding, there'll be no more waiting. No more "it's early pa naman" excuse. No more. I hope the supplier finds a way. Or our coordinator can find a way later on. Because i really, really, really want that particular thing. :p i guess i'll turn into a bride-brat, instead of bridezilla. :p

I loved her one-liners. I loved how her and Leonidas have this equal-partners relationship. I love how she was the "yes husband, you may kill that messenger" kind of wife. I loved how she was smart and she said whatever it was in her head. And I loved all her dresses. haha! -==- gawd, i wonder how long will i stay sensitive about things? i have to say that the past few weeks, i've wondered how i was supposed to fix things myself. why just me, by the way? either that, or i'm reading into things too much again. -==- i bought a dress online last week, i got it today. I like the cut and all, but i don't quite like the material. it's all dizzying lines. i either buy a material i like and get it copied, or i pass this off to my sister instead. or to anyone else that may want it. :) -==- i look back at the archives of this blog quite often. I find that as time goes by, i can't be bothered to read too far back up. sometimes it's interesting. all the other time...
