I will never be that wasted again NEVER! Last night was fun but it ended very badly for me. I'm just glad that Kris and Les were around to take care of me. Even more glad that Yan came to get me to bring me home. Man, i felt so bad last night.. I felt like i was inconveniencing a lot of people. Even worse, it just turned into one big misunderstanding after another. So anyway, i hope everything gets cleared up. :P I'm sick as hell right now... can you believe? it's been almost 24 hours but i still feel like shit. Yet, there's work tomorrow and I gotta be there. Look, Ma, I have a job! (aka A belated look at the newest part of my life) Well, fine, i've had one for almost two whole months now and spent almost the whole of 2003 and half of 2004 being in a internship that qualified as a "real job". But sometimes, I just take a step back and realize that i'm finally in that position i could never grasp as a child - that of a worker. The one in the office, writing all sorts of things, signing all sorts of things, talking to all sorts of people. The one who walks around a lot, doing stuff. As a child, I wondered about all these things i mentioned above. Like, what exactly do they constantly write/type about? And who tells them to write/type all these things? How do they know what to do everyday? Of course, as a little kid, i compare "work" with being in school and it seemed a little weird to me that these adults would go around doing stuff without seemingly being told to do so. Bridget Jones was a great, great movie. I loved it. It was the ultimate chick movie but funny and witty enough for the guys (boyfriends, friends) in the audience to appreciate and laugh out loud as well. It was damn sweet as well. Now i've gone back to thinking (take note: thinking lang) in my so-called lost british accent. watching bridget jones makes me miss BIS, my teachers and friends. The accent brings back a lot of memories. And then i crash back down to earth to realize that high school is a place best visited and not re-lived. Don't get me wrong, I had fun but it was a long time ago. :) Anyway, back to the movie. I loved how the movie is able to paint the uncertainess of a new relationship. You're as comfortable as hell with each other but you still can't get over the "new-ness" of everything. The Weekend This weekend was alternately one of the loneliest but busiest weekend i've had. Now isn't that weird? Lonely because my baby went off to Hong Kong for a bit of a holiday with his sister and her family. It's weird for me to have him away, even for just such a short time, because i'm not used to him being away. I really, really missed him this weekend! It felt kulang not to have him around. I was quite productive though. I went back to the gym last saturday morning after a long time. so now my body's aching and I didn't get to go back to the gym today. I also had a hair cut and hung out with Kris. And then I went off to Mia's birthday dinner which was really yummy and fun! I love my friends. Stumped for an excuse to write There hasn't been happening much in my life for me to write about. I've fallen into a routine! A ROUTINE! after about half a year of having no schedules to follow, no deadlines to think about and definitely... no school or work to go to, I've now fallen into a routine. I get to work, turn on my pc. I check my email, log on yahoo messenger and then check my calendar for any materials that I should get for that day. And then, when all this is done and i have no client meetings, no internal meetings and no other miscellaneaous stuff to do, I am stuck surfing for most of the day or even blogging (as I am doing now). It's been like this for the past two weeks as everything has gone quiet for my client. I hope it's not some "calm before the storm" thing because when things get hectic, they can get REALLY hectic naman. So while it's fallen into a routine, i'm smart enough to be thankful for it. I wanna stay on holiday! We (my baby and i) went off to tagaytay last weekend to, well, do nothing really with my SDL friends. We stayed at picnic grove at these cottage-thingies. It was cool, it was such a laughtrip, foodtrip and kwento-trip. :) We all ended up sleeping quite early because the atmosphere in Tagaytay made it seem so late!! 9pm pa lang felt like 1am na. haha! it was pretty cool. :) we went to calaruega as well, which was pretty cool because i've always wanted to go there. we got some really good pictures from there too. -==- now that the long weekend is over, i'm feeling quite sick! again! :P yesterday, i was feeling the start of a sore throat that usually comes before a cold (for me, anyway). when i woke up this morning, some parts of my body were aching and i was cold! i'm still cold!! the ac here at the office isn't helping at all. :P haaay.. i hope it doesn't turn into fever or something. i hate being sick. :P
