mayhem.urbanacoustic.net my friends in BIS and i used to have this diary that we passed around to each other everyday (well, at least we tried to pass it on to a different person each day). it doesn't really have much thought-provoking, life-altering entries.. just a bunch of girls gossiping and talking bout the latest men in their lives (whether in reality, in their dreams or on the big screen). it was fun.. it was great. it helped us keep in touch with each other (as if we weren't together at school enough) and well, it was a release i guess. especially when you're mad and ready to kill. it allowed for those artistic ones to draw and watever as well. everyone in school knew we had one... but it was something they sort of left alone. after all, it was extremely well-guarded. if you hadn't written in it, better leave it at home. well, anyway, i'm talking bout this because a bunch of us are back together again... with a new diary of sorts... electronical...
Black Eyed Peas Last night, Yan, Kris, Les and I went to watch the Black Eyed Peas. We got free tickets from Les' dad so we went to check em out. We got there at around 7:30 and endured two fucking hours worth of trash. i'm serious. hehe. i hate opening acts, especially opening acts that go on forever. the concert was meant to be part of this whole big program they called "island flava"... but i kinda thought it was a bit shit because they featured a bunch of new people but i guess that's the whole point of opening acts. The concert finally started at 10pm after seeing this rapper get cut in the middle of his act because he rapped in tagalog (at least that's what he said), a sudden change of emcee to the organizer because some walked out after the rapper guy got cut (this organizer was so patronizing! he told people to "go and buy from our concessionaire stands while we're waiting" ... of course he was booed.) and a supposed 10-minute sou...
Restless i've been like this ever since i came back from jakarta. it's turned me into quite a bit of a bitch at times too... even when my baby is around, only because i'm with him all the time (spending lots of time before i leave for the states for a month). argh. i hate it! it's a good thing it's not a constant thing or else i'll start hating myself. i'm sorry baby, i love being with you.. really, i just dunno what's up with me. i'm pikon, restless and perpetually questioning myself. questioning what part of life or myself exactly, i have no fucking idea. i feel like i want to do something but i don't know what i feel like i'm missing something but i don't know what it is i feel like i should be someplace but i don't know where i feel like i should have some direction, but i don't know where to aaarrggghhh!!!! this has been the quietest saturday i've ever had... but it's about to get bett...
I'm Back! well... i thought i'd stay at blurty forever.. but i can't resist the new blogger. it's just ironic how i set up my account at blurty for the sole purpose of it already having a comments field when blogger comes out with its own! so now i'm back.. i do love blogger anyway. hehe City Jam my friends and i went to this really small bar in katipunan last night (and man, when i say small, it really is SMALL. as soon as you walk in, the band is in your face!) and i loved it! This band called Stonefree was playing and they were great! They played a lot of covers, stuff I used to listen to back in high school. Every song they played had a lot of memories backing it. Basically, being there took me back to a time where everything was freer, where you couldn't care less, where the most pressing issue in your mind is the fact that you need to finish a Chem homework during lunchtime. ahh..bliss. the memories of a younger me. bwehehe. but i loved ...
Having fun with the other one For any of you who actually read my blog and you notice that it hasn't been updated in a while... well then click on here to see my other blog. i'm currently having fun with the other one and may actually be posting on that one for a while. :)
my blurty account i made myself a blurty account... but i'm still keeping this one though. while i think blurty is cool and all, i still like blogger. hehe. anyway, just in case anyone wants to see, the blurty link is: www.blurty.com/users/ryzchica or www.blurty.com/~ryzchica :)
of Dirty Dancing, Havana Nights... and talents I saw the movie mentioned above last night. The dancing was awesome! Diego Luna is fine... but Gael Garcia may be finer. hehe. :) anyway, it made me think about how much i loved to dance. There's nothing like getting out on the dance floor and letting the music move you. I truly think that some of my happiest times are on the dance floor, pounding my feet to the beat. Anyway, this movie just made me wish that i knew how to latin dance... i've always wanted to learn it but i never had the chance. haaayyy... :) dancing is ... well, i think, it's probably the only real "talent" that i have. sure, i can play the piano (and damn man, after about 9 years of learning i should be able to!) but i can't play it the way my mom does or the way my other friends from high school did. it wasn't natural... i really had to practise hard to be able to play well and the irony of it all.. i DIDN'T LIKE PRACTISING! i ...
