Here comes Rain
After extreme heat, drought, threats of no electricity and other dire things brought about by the lack of rain - it has finally rained. In fact, it hasn't stopped raining at all. It's funny, because for the first time, people are actually conflicted about what they think about the rain.
Case in point, one saleswoman in Zara was overheard saying last night, "naku, ang hirap naman umuwi nito, umuulan. pero, ok na din, kelangan natin ang ulan eh. pero ang hirap lang tlga."
Haha. I feel the same way. I've never been a rain person. Rain makes the trip home from a measly 30-40mins to a good two hours one. Rain means wet pants. Rain means bigger chances of slipping on the floor and potentially hurting myself, my ass AND my pride. Rain means wet umbrellas, which mean wet car interiors. Oh, and before you can get the car wet with your umbrella, you first have to hurdle trying to get in the car without getting yourself too wet, without other cars hitting your car's door while trying to minimise the amount of rain that will actually wet the side of the door and closing your umbrella all at the same time damn time.
That being said, the good side of rain this time around is this - the heat has lessened, possibility of dire circumstances have been minimised and well, it's a prayer answered.
That and being officially told that you can leave the office at 4. yeah. :D
