Suspended reality

Being on holiday is a lot like being in suspended reality. you wake up, eat a full breakfast, get dressed, go out. To wherever. and suspended reality meant waking up in the same house Reg is in.

Whereas, reality is really waking up early, getting dressed, go to work, eat something at your desk while checking email. and then you start counting hours until it's lunch, and after that, until it's time to go. oh, and you go online too. and you actually work. And reality is Reg and Kaye living in their own spaces.

Now that we're back home, it's back to my reality. i'm back at my desk, wondering in vain how to get all the dust off my white mac keyboard when my boss with the really good cleaner is out on vacation leave (alcohol and tissue don't work that great). i'm back exactly to how i was two weeks ago - nothing to do. and guess what? i'm actually kinda happy because: 1) there's nothing to do and 2) it's wednesday so the weekend is almost here and finally 3) my family is here too. Plus, I get to see Reg - just not first thing in the morning, just sometime during the day. :)

The holiday, to say the least, was GREAT. that's an understatement. It was beyond GREAT. We had so much fun. I have bad separation anxiety. I can't wait to upload pictures. I had such a fun time with my crazy family.

Haay. It's crap to be back at work. But as Reg oh so maturely says, there's not much we can do about it. so might as well get used to it fast. :)
