oh how quickly things are changing

we're old.

no really. we are. how we're thinking now is a testament to it. our minds are filled with thoughts that we used to think we'll never have to think about.

but no. this is it. we're at that age.

ah, age.

somehow, while you think it's just a number that increases every year, i've realized that when you're in your twenties - it's more than just that. it's amazing how in one decade - you can change things, find things that you hope will last your lifetime, make big choices and important commitments. in one decade, you are uncertain about the steps you take, but somehow, you are also damn sure about where you're going. contradicting? yeah. but that's the best way to describe it.

i love this rollercoaster ride. i love the certainty i have with some things. i love planning things now, especially since it all seems so real now. when i make plans, it's not just a wait-and-see thing anymore. it all points to a direction that can be real soon.

it's amazing. amazing how quickly things can move, how quickly they can change. amazing how you can be sure and unsure at the same time yet you forge on anyway - everything based on faith.

i may get tired of all the thoughts in my mind, of the so-called quarter life crisis but you know what? i kind of love it.

because somehow i know, i am fixing my life. i am. and that rocks man. :)

i just found out today that the "last on the list" is actually going to be the first -- to get married!

Yos! i know you're probably never gonna get to read this, but i am damn happy for you. for finding your match. for going for what you want. and for getting engaged. we'll be there, in new york, the day you say "i do." i'm not gonna miss that man.

:)
