Where did the weekend go??

I don't know what it is bout the month of december, but the days just seem to be on fast forward. earlier this morning, i kept thinking that it was a saturday, totally forgetting the fact that saturday already happened.

goodness me.

anyway, this weekend was reminiscent of our normal weekends, back when life wasn't so full and busy. my baby hung out here at home for most of saturday to burn some cds to take home to the province. lounging around on a saturday is definitely fun... i can't do that often so i'm grateful for the time that i get to. we left for dinner and hung out at greenbelt for a bit, after which we saw les and caloy. didn't get to stay long however, because i had to be up a bit early (well, early for a sunday morning anyway) for an appointment with julette (naks, appointment. hehe). Now that i look back, we didn't leave so early saturday night anyway... i got home usual time. goodness. see what i mean about time flying??

today was a day of errands for me. i tried to get everything i wanted done, done. but of course, traffic and crowds were in my way today so i think i only got about half of the things finished.

thing is, all my christmas shopping needs to be finished by this week. everything needs to be wrapped by this week.

why you ask??

because my family's arriving on saturday!!! gotta get their gifts wrapped and under the tree by the time they get here.

speaking of gifts, i just love shopping for them. whether they be useless, small or expensive, i love buying them. this is the first year where i've had to buy a gazillion gifts for both friends and family AND co-w0rkers. and i don't mind spending so much money because it's the first time that i can actually give from out of my own pocket (horray for work! haha!). i'm gonna be dead broke by the time the month is over but it's alright... i don't mind. :)

gosh, christmas is such a mad time... but it's a mad, wonderful time anyway.
