Bonding is the word, baby
(and other random ramblings)
There are times, certain times during the year, that i feel that my baby and i just bond. it usually happens out of nowhere.. we'd be hanging out like usual and the next thing you know, we're talking to each other as if we didn't know almost everything about each other. Somehow, you just find something new to laugh and talk about.
This weekend was a major bonding weekend for us. After all, the weekend before that wasn't such a great weekend for both of us - we didn't end it happily after all. we argued, in fact. This weekend was the complete opposite. We spent most of it together hanging out and just enjoying each other's company. It was also perfect in that it was punctuated by the appearances of our friends at various times, but it was pretty obvious that the main point of our weekend was us. It was bonding time.
:)
The thing i find amazing is... after all this time, you think we'd have bonded to death already. But there are times when our closeness is obvious... that we're really in it together in everything. It's during these bonding times that this comes out so strongly.
I like bonding. It makes our friendship stronger i think. :)

The past week has been such a roller coaster week... highlight of which was the super bagyo that hit town. A lot of people were affected, a lot of people lost family members. Anyway, today, the accounts team collected money and spent our lunch at Landmark buying various canned goods, rice, toothpaste and soap to donate. It's really times like these when you realize how lucky you are... and that the only right thing to do will be to share your blessings with those who aren't so lucky.
I feel bad for the people who got hit bad by the storm... and i hope that our little donation somehow goes a long way.

oh, National Treasure is a fun, fun movie. Has traces of the Da Vinci code but it's still a fun, fun movie. Galing. i liked it. check it out guys.
Alexander the Gay... oh wait, the Great, on the other hand.. was such a disappointment! Granted, it had a lot of good elements, but it dragged... it was just too long i think. The main highlight of the movie, in my opinion, was Colin Farrell's, um, gift. hahaha! :D Anyway, save it for dvd marathons so you can fast forward. :D
Oh, does anyone know where Bridget goes for her Bangkok work/holiday? I know it's the same beach where they shot The Beach, but does anyone know the actual name of the place?
