My weekend
Most of my january weekends have just been jampacked. This weekend was no exception.
Rundown!
28-29 was the Gasso Corplan at Punta Fuego. From the moment we stepped out of the bus, it was non-stop workshops, talks, groupings and games! goodness... we didn't even get to see our rooms until after we ate dinner. Went swimming for about 45minutes during the first night and ended up quite buzzed after drinking with friends. fun fun fun! second day was full as well. We left at around 5pm, stopped over at Tagaytay for dinner (because people were craving for bulalo! ) and we ended up getting home at around 10pm.
Because of that, i didn't get to meet up with my baby for dinner OR dessert because it was too late.
I did meet up with my sakote friends though, who i missed terribly! and man, sogie was so funny... i don't think i've ever laughed that hard in my life. :D
The next day, I finally met up with my baby to celebrate our 5th anniversary! can you...

Playing around...
Us sdl girls were, as usual, playing around during the reception with Cia's veil. With her still attached to it. hehe. Anyway, since everyone was all starry-eyed with the wedding, someone had the awesome idea of putting the veil over our heads to see what we would look like on the day we got married (wishing, wishing lahat ! haha!)
So anyway, here's mine:
it's my new favorite picture!! haha!! I seriously wish that on the day of my wedding, i'll look as nice as this in ALL of my pictures. -==- click here for more pictures. the album's name is Unang Kasal (First Wedding, to my non-filipino speaking friends). :D

Cia's MARRIED! Goodness!
I can't believe it! It's been a year and a month since she told knox and i back in boracay that she was going to get married already. The year flew by pretty quick and the next thing you know, we were all at malate church in our formal best, waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle.
And what a beautiful bride she was. :)
All of us couldn't help but cry!! I don't know why people cry at weddings since it's such a joyous occassion, but seeing someone in a wedding dress is just... i don't know. you know that things will change from that moment on and that walk down the aisle is the both the start and the end of things. we all just got so emotional. thank goodness for great make up because that definitely stopped us from bawling our eyes out. hehe.
everything was just so nice! the mass was short and sweet. the church and flowers looked beautiful. the walk to baywalk in our dresses after the mass was extremely funny as wel...

Friends
Tonight was a pretty good night - FILC girls finally got together after so many cancelled plans and as usual, fun, fun fun! for sure, i really miss these guys. thank gawd for email. hehe
Sakote ppl were at greenbelt as well so i got to see them too! although i really need to make up for a lot of time spent apart... i haven't been able to really hang out with them even when my parents left because my weekends were just full. but that's about to change!! i really missed them too.
And eventhough we had no plans of meeting today, i still got to see my baby because him and his family ate dinner at greenbelt with some guests.
so i got to see almost everyone i loved today... that's awesome. :)

Of weddings, age and other issues... :p
Last sunday, as we sat in front of the tv in discovery suites, eating junkfood for breakfast, julette blurted out loud to cia: ohmigod! you're getting married in 5 days! (or something to that effect).
I personally got chills down my spine but when i looked at my dear friend, she had the most contented smile on her face. To me, it is extremely mind-boggling to be content and ready to be married at our age. I guess that's the difference between me and her - she is ready, while i am not.
The past few weeks i've slowly come to realize that nothing is the same anymore. proof of our age is the very fact that we're attending the wedding of one of us on saturday. one of us is getting married... it hits very close to home and makes you realize how old you're getting.
Can I just whine?! I'm not ready for any of this! This growing up business sucks ass man.
I turn 23 in five days. 23! Can you imagine? And i can still ...

The very first bridal shower I attended
... was held last Saturday at Discovery Suites for our dear Cia (who will be "tied down" on Saturday!!).
So how would i describe it?
um.. very informative and interesting for the most part. spine-tingling (not the good one, haha!) for a bit and just generally a fun, fun, fun time with some of my greatest friends.
=D
