wedding-related post
hay. i dunno how to work this out. sometimes i find that when i'm in the middle of a discussion about something, my mind starts to wander and wonder (ahaha, this reminds me of 7th grade spelling quizzes. i went to a british school - those two words don't sound alike. i digress) about times and timings and stuff.
then i realise, i shouldn't be. the venues are more important to me/us. not settling for anything less means a compromise. :) anyway, things will definitely go ok. it's a party for and with the people we love. it's a celebration whatever time of day. :) and damn, what a big and happy celebration it will be.

i get weekly alerts from theknot.com (which is a pretty cool site, btw) with tips and everything. after quite a while, i got an alert that said something about time. specifically, it said "15 months to go!"
i had a "what?!" moment. 15 months to go?! all of a sudden, it doesn't seem so far off anymore and there are loads that need to be done. it's starting! and i'm excited off my ass about it. :)

went back to rajo yesterday and gave him our little scrapbook. he's presenting to us designs on the 23rd. can't wait. i hope it turns out great. *fingers crossed tightly*

i have to thank all the trips and plans and everything going on for making time go by. the next thing you know it'll be may and we're off to somewhere again. then june comes and it's jakarta. and then july comes and the families get together finally! :) and we still have to get to that Discovery Weekend retreat.
all the fun things in between are definitely making this year a little more interesting. it feels jampacked and i like it, because it's jampacked because of my life and not just because of work. :D

about a week or so ago, i had that ohmigawd-we're-getting-married feeling again, which was pretty funny. i had the same butterflies of excitement and disbelief in my stomach as when we got engaged. i realise that after a while, engagement becomes a fact. and then you get hit by one of those surreal moments and it feels new all over again. i love it. haha! :)
