today was the orientation for the new IMC residents. it felt pretty strange to be sitting up at the front of the room, talking bout my experiences, sharing what i learned and answering questions. it felt strange not to be sitting on the other side, listening, learning and anticipating for the work to start.

man, it's been exactly a year since i was in that position... it flew by like it was nothing! i have learnt so many things, realized a lot about myself and capabilities and experienced a lot. it's amazing how many things can happen in a year.

tomorrow is the day that graduation officially becomes a reality. we're picking up our togas! and the day after that, it's rehearsals! and glads and i get to take attendance and fix up comm because none of our teachers can make it! :P hassle! and all i thought i'd be there just to sit around, listen and laff wit friends.. but no, we get to work! that's ok... i'll juz help glads out. hehe..

man, i can't wait for graduation! :D

Arguing from the point of equality and other things

Yesterday, my sister texted that she was about to get that Canon SLR camera that I wanted. Well, my dad did tell me that both of us told him on separate occasions about the camera so... since she's there, she got hers. Now, being that lil child that I can be, I actually texted my parents asking why she's getting one and i'm not?! ahahah, laugh, i know it's worthy of laughter. In fact, Reg teased me about arguing from the point of equality. I said, we're ALWAYS arguing from the point of equality anyway. hehe :D So my sister and I were texting, as I was asking her which cameras were available in the store that they were in and lo and behold, they sell Leicas!! Wohoo! :) I may actually get my Leica after all. So now i'm torn.
