Fahrenheit 9/11 it comes out tomorrow.. watch it, if you haven't yet. :) great documentary right here man. it will make you think. and emphatize. and there's really something about watching a generally perceived high-and-mighty country fumble a bit through the eyes of its own citizens. i'll never know if michael moore was biased or whatever, but this is a good documentary. worth your time.

ever feel like you're alone eventhough you're surrounded by so many people? terminal got this feeling so perfectly. that shot of Tom Hanks as he stands in the middle of the terminal, distressed, as he had just realized that his country is in turmoil. As the camera pans out, you see that he is surrounded by other people, all with their own problems and agenda, carrying on with their life. It keeps panning out so that you can no longer see Tom Hanks but a crowd of people and realize that he has just become another insignificant speck of being in that terminal. i sometimes feel like this. in the midst of noise and activity, i feel removed. like i am not part of it at all. i can see the people swirling, moving around me, but i am in the middle and i'm not part of it. that i am just a bystander. it's quite lonely actually. i don't know what the source of this feeling is. it's not as if i do not surround myself with people i love constantly. i have my boyfriend...

Saved! This stars Mandy Moore, Jena Malone, Patrick Fugit, Macaulay Culkin and Eva Amuri. It's basically about a bunch of Born-Again Christian teens who go to, of course, a Christian high school. It basically shows the difference in the manifestation of one's beliefs. Some extreme, some none and some just in between. Mandy Moore is the extreme, Jena Malone is the newly-pregnant girl who does some soul-searching about her beliefs and the way they affect her life, Patrick Fugit is the one in-between who realizes that most areas of life are grey and not black and white (as the Bible paints it to be) while there are the others who just don't believe in anything. My favorite quote from the movie: "Why did he make us all different if He wanted all of us to be the same?" Free will plays a major part to this. I think that we all react to our surroundings, to God's word and His love in lots of different ways, ways unique to ourselves. He hopes that we do ...
