it's just my imagination running away with me   those two lines never fit a better person. me, the girl with the wildest imagination. i can entertain myself anywhere just by imagining. i can spin a whole story, complete with characters, situations and dialogue and see it all in my head. i can take a situation in my life, twist it around to make it come out the way i wanted it to come out. or i can see a dream of mine acted out completely in my head at will. some days i find that it is truly relaxing just to let my imagination run wild at me. some days, it causes me worry because i can actively think of other things, worse things about a situation. it is during these worrisome times that i am thankful for my instinct. pure gut feel. i tend to follow my gut feel quite a lot. sometimes i am wrong, sometimes i am right. but i trust my gut feel. so if my imagination, my head, has started to run wild on something so important to me... i have my gut feel to fall b...
i love our late nights at seattles/starbucks in alabang. i love alabang. i wanna live in alabang forever. well, technically, i live in paranaque but that's besides the point. i mean, i wanna be near alabang forever. alabang town rocks! (take that, ortigas town center! hehehe). kris, caloy and i hung out today at seattles/starbucks (there's a slash because we inevitably move from one to the other anyway) until late at night, as we are normally wont to do. conversations with these two never become uninteresting. it's impossible. i mean, get three talkative, opinionated people together and it's a partay man.  seriously tho, for me, it's the best situation. i get insights, views and comments from a guy's point of view and a girl's point of view at the same time. talk about seing the whole picture. plus the fact that they know me so well (as kris does) and they're amazingly objective (as caloy is). being with kris and caloy means i can talk about anything...
I am back for a second interview tomorrow at this agency  i applied to. second interview, what happens in a second interview anyway? hehe. well, i was thinking today andi figured that i wasn't too sure about it as i was yesterday. strange huh? now that i've had time to think it over, i feel like i want to check out something else.so i'll have something to compare it with. i figure, i can still afford to do this right? i'm only young once anyway. :P anyway, we'll see tomorrow. and i hope that whatever it is that happens from tomorrow onwards, i make somehow the right decision. oh, let me just take this time out to thank all those who think of me when openings come up. i'm forever grateful to you guys... you're the best. i love you. =) -==- some thoughts:   what do you do when you don't exactly know what to make out of a certain situation you put yourself in? what do you do when deep down inside you're thinking that you are somehow right...
It's fun being a kid   Last night was such a blast! well, yesterday as a whole was quite a blast na din naman. I went on this interview that was pretty ok, i don't think i did too badly. then after, yan and i, mom, inna, nek and inna's friend, jessica went to play badminton for about 2hours. fun, fun! and then after, we all went off to eat dinner and watch a movie with dad at town. mom, dad, nek, yan and i saw imelda which is such a cool documentary. i liked how it showed the contrasting opinions about her from different people and from her own perspective. i guess i kind of feel sorry for her because somehow she has convinced herself that her way is right, that she has done something good for everyone. it's almost as if she has turned a blind eye on all the ugly things in this world because she is so enamored with beauty. and her simplified philosophies! ohmigoodness. if i thought that philosophy could be drawn using little stick drawings, i wouldn't have such a...
How to be Happy, DAMMIT: Life Lesson no. 2   The pain back in Life Lesson no. 1 is for your own benefit ( see my entry below for details ) You were being taught how to breathe, invited to suck down a yummy oxygen/nitrogen cocktail. That painful whack was necessary for your growth. Of course, had you been told this at that time, you still would not have understood with your naive lil baby mind. And so it goes for much of the pain in your life. Often you need to evolve a bit more before you can understand a bit more. By now you  know: you live in a world of 1,000,001 interpretations By now you know: you must resist staying stuck on 1. -==- I love the last two lines in this particular life lesson. It is quite true after all. I mean, everything that happens to us in this life are all open to interpretation. This is the reason why we are forever questioning "why" because we are always searching for understanding. Eventually, we realize that as time goes on a...
I can't wait for my sister to grow up.   seriously. i don't think i can take any more of this puberty-angsty-shit that makes her think that she's the center of the goddamn world. nakakapagod.   pisses me off pa at how she thinks she can just push people around, say whatever she wants. no respect man. tang ina, buti na lang mabait yung mga taong nakapaligid sa knya. most of all, i hate the fact how she treats people like their all just in her level, at her own age. not everyone is 13 and maarte like her no! minsan, she's masarap kasama. minsan, i really want to just pull her hair. i can't wait for her to learn more things para hindi ko siya maisipan na tanga paminsan-minsan . i hope to God i wasn't this bad when i was at her age. because if i was, I AM TRULY TRULY SORRY. -==- now that that rant is over, i can now move on with the rest of my evening. :P
Small talk is hard...   we were at my dad's boss' massive house just a few hours ago because the family was invited to dinner. damn, there was enuff food to feed 15 people and there were only 7 of us eating!! goodness me. i'm soo full! it didn't help that i went in to that dinner extremely full from all the water i've been drinking because of my cough. halfway through my meal, i was force-feeding myself! :P anyway, they're really nice people.. even gave us girls gifts. pretty sweet huh? they're an old couple, no more kids at their house so i guess they like having company around. they invite a lot of their executives over to get to know them so everyone in the company has probably gone through dinner at their house at one time or another. that's the culture kasi. :) i think it's nice how they try to entertain and get to know the people they work with. it was three hours of small talk. gosh damn. :P i gotta say, there really is nothing like ...
