busy busy weekend but it was fun!! recap recap.
88 Storey Anniv Party at M Cafe
was a blast! i've never really made it to any industry-related events but sayang told me about this one about two weeks before so i knew i was gonna end up there Friday. the coolest thing about that was, so did practically everyone else! i had loads of fun watching friends get drunk on the what-an-open-bar-should-be open bar (so many drinks! so little time! hahaha). i didn't get smashed like a lot of people tho... i guess i wasn't finishing everything that was handed to me. ahahaha!
however, the fact that i was there with people i lurve was enough. :) oh, and getting to meet and chat with will devaughn was kick ass too (thanks iya! haha). the beso was one of the highlights that evening. so anyway, i hope another party with a better open bar comes up soon.. babawi na ako sa inom. ahahah. :D

saturday found me up by 10am to make my way to greenbelt for lunch with my sisters and my mom along with jakarta titas and their kids. sayang joined us as well. we separated from them right after to go to podium to get my jeans from viktor and saw fast and the furious. pretty cool movie, but that vin diesel ending just made it cornier than it already was. sigh. but it was all good. whoops. spoiler right there! ahahaha. sowee, to those who care. ehehe. :D
made our way back home to where my relatives from my mom's side were all gathered. ohmigoodness, all the little babies from the months past have grown! haha. sayang ended up meeting them all and watched along with everyone else mom and dad's anniv video. he stayed longer than planned (since he was about to meet up with his boys). i passed on that gimik since i was still tired from the night before.
for a while there, i was sad when he left. and he kept asking me if i was ok and i really was - just sad that he had to go and i didn't want to go with him. i really didn't feel like it.
he asked me though, if i wanted him to stay? but really, with questions like this, i prefer that he answer them himself because i'd love it more if he decided to stay because he felt like it, not because i wanted him to. that's a pretty big difference. i'd just feel bad otherwise. i, on the other hand, can handle whatever decision is made naman. :)
so it was all good.
what made me so happy about this whole weekend was that he met my family, hung out with all of them and they are all okay with him. they were even teasing him about how he has to learn how to dance now because i dance. ahaha! and my mom refers to him, talks to him, lahat! and my sister overheard her telling our relatives that she thought sayang was a good guy. in waray, maupay hiya...
yay yay yay. even my dad likes him too.

Father's day was a super hot day. we (sayang included) stood outside greenbelt church for mass and suffered in the sweltering heat. family and i ate dinner at mingoy's while sayang left to eat dinner at his tita's. pretty steady and full sunday. all we did was eat! my goodness.

so anyway, here i am, all tired on a monday but it's all good. this week promises to be good too. definitely NOT looking forward to next week - you should see my production schedule. i have this urge to split myself in two. ahaha. i guess this means i'll be working up until the end of next week - i had hopes of taking my recovery leave on the 30th so i can spend extra time at home and with sayang but i guess not. :p oh well. such is life in advertising. i did choose this life after all. haha. :)

i was looking through pictures in my sony ericsson phone and found this particular one. thank goodness for macs and their bluetooths! ahaha... this is one of my favorite pictures, too bad it's the back that was pictured and it's a little too far but who cares. i think it's funny.
