all that marriage talk

so i bought magazines today for tracking right?

the stats -- half of them had all sorts of wedding info.

june na nga tlga.

who made june brides uso anyway? aaahh... is it because it's summer in the states and it's just perfect weather?

so how did that extend to the phils when we spend most of june being drenched in rain?!

anyway.. random thoughts. haha

since i'm talking about weddings and marriages... what is this ba, uso?! ahaha... or have we all finally gotten old enough that it's starting to become part of conversations when barkadas get together?

stats in the barkada - two engaged, one married, a bunch seriously taken and one who says he wants to get married by the end of next year and have a child.

stats in college barkada - one married with a child now, one saying that he is DEFINITELY, FOR SURE getting married next year (he has to find his bride, but he seems very confident, haha), about two or three people seriously taken and a bunch of singles (who i'm pretty sure will find their "ones" soon, even just for a moment).

AND YET, yet... we spend time talking about things like buying places to live in, how many children we want to have, where we want to raise them, when ideally we want to get married, engagement rings and the like. we never used to! haha. :)

my goodness!! we're old! ahaha.

and since every girl i know has spent most of her life (even in childhood) envisioning how her wedding will go - i'm sure all this marriage talk just makes them all starry-eyed. oh wait, include me there - it makes me starry-eyed too. can't blame me, i'm a girl too you know! ahahaha.

haaayyy grabe... let's see who goes next na lang! haha.

Uy wala namang ganyanan! :) We're old ... but not THAT old! =P

There's bound to be someone older. That's what I always say. And hey, if we're young at heart, we're young. o ha.

si gopal ha, making us save several hundred dollars for his wedding next year tas wala pang bride! haha! talk about forward-thinking talaga! =)

Arguing from the point of equality and other things

Yesterday, my sister texted that she was about to get that Canon SLR camera that I wanted. Well, my dad did tell me that both of us told him on separate occasions about the camera so... since she's there, she got hers. Now, being that lil child that I can be, I actually texted my parents asking why she's getting one and i'm not?! ahahah, laugh, i know it's worthy of laughter. In fact, Reg teased me about arguing from the point of equality. I said, we're ALWAYS arguing from the point of equality anyway. hehe :D So my sister and I were texting, as I was asking her which cameras were available in the store that they were in and lo and behold, they sell Leicas!! Wohoo! :) I may actually get my Leica after all. So now i'm torn.
