The day my life changed

well, it's not that drastic really. I just got a job is all. I'm finally off my ass and am officially part of the rat race.

today i turned into a yuppie.

=) =P

i officially started work today. the first half of my day rolled by really slooowwwlyyy... as in! i fell asleep for a bit. and then my new boss came back from her meeting so she briefed me about agency processes, etc. i get the whole overview, but i know i will only really learn it when i do it. time to start swimming!

and then, the turn over!! turns out, it was the last day of the person i was replacing.

goodness, turn over agad?!

so on monday, i actually have stuff to do na.

i'm all mixed emotions. excited to be on the other side of the client-agency relationship. apprehensive about the new processes and things i need to pick up as quickly as possible. nervous about dealing with new people.

but i look forward to it all.

i hope i was made for this. :D

ps. i hate filling out forms. seriously. i dunno how to answer some of these things. dammit. i should learn this. :P it's soo basic but i dunno how to do it well!!

Arguing from the point of equality and other things

Yesterday, my sister texted that she was about to get that Canon SLR camera that I wanted. Well, my dad did tell me that both of us told him on separate occasions about the camera so... since she's there, she got hers. Now, being that lil child that I can be, I actually texted my parents asking why she's getting one and i'm not?! ahahah, laugh, i know it's worthy of laughter. In fact, Reg teased me about arguing from the point of equality. I said, we're ALWAYS arguing from the point of equality anyway. hehe :D So my sister and I were texting, as I was asking her which cameras were available in the store that they were in and lo and behold, they sell Leicas!! Wohoo! :) I may actually get my Leica after all. So now i'm torn.
